Dear Readers,

I’ve been working on the edits for my fourth book, Heartwood, which comes out October 16th. Those edits will be done by tomorrow morning, so I’ll have time to write a real post then. Apologies!

  1. Can’t wait to see it 🙂

Just finished Dragon’s Bane, it was really gd. A perfect ending to Mark and Luke’s journey.

    1. Dear Calvin,
I think that’s the best review I’ve ever read. Thank you.

P.S. Could I have your permission to show your comment on my Facebook and Twitter pages?

      1. Absolutely, that would be no problem at all.

Btw, I am very curious to see how a dragon turns someone into a genie or another magical creature.

Is there any chance of a short story showing that happening?

        1. Interesting thought. I haven’t quite decided if I want to go that direction yet, but if I did, it might involve Mark and Luke deciding to have children. Theirs would have to be a secondary plot, though. Originally, there were going to be four Dragon in Training books. Three and four ended up being a single book because Mark came to his senses about his dragon nature a lot faster than I anticipated, which is great; it’s always good to know characters are quicker than originally intended. But when I conceived the original Dragon in Training 3, I played with the idea of Mark and Luke having a child, and the ramifications of such a bold step, exactly because of the question you raised. Who knows? Maybe there will be another dragon who faces a similar challenge, or Mark and Luke will appear again. As it is, they’re mentioned in the next paranormal book.

Thanks for your permission! I appreciate it.

Be well, and I hope to have either the next paranormal book, or a sequel to Heartwood, out soon.

      2. No problem Emily, it was my pleasure to review your book.

I’m also in the process of writing my next book (only in the first draft so far), if all goes to plan, this should be my first major release.

I’ve left a link to my website on this comment if you are interested in seeing the work I have currently published.

It’s by no means perfect, but it’s a start.

I look forward to reading Heartwood when it is released, and I will let you know how I progress with my latest work.

Thank you again for a brilliant read.
